Big Lottery Fund

BTCV Scotland

Community Health Exchange (CHEX)

Lloyds TSB Foundation:
Lloyds TSB is a grant making trust distributing in excess of £7 million each year to recognised charities throughout Scotland. Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations
SCVO is the national body representing the voluntary sector. Latest news on policy, funding and e-learning modules on e.g. project management.

Scottish Centre for Regeneration
The Scottish Centre for Regeneration (SCR) helps build skills and expertise and share knowledge among those working in community regeneration. Lots of downloadable information, including “How to….” guides e.g. partnership working.

Scottish Community Land Network
SCLN aims to encourage community land initiatives throughout Scotland by the promotion, sharing of experience and networking of Scottish Community Land Initiative groups. Sign up for the monthly e-newsletter and see other community land projects.

Scottish Natural Heritage
SNH works with others to protect and improve Scotland’s natural heritage and to help people understand, enjoy and care for it.  Check this link out for grant schemes for community projects/involvement.

Social Economy Scotland
Social Economy Scotland is the Development Partnership supported through the second round of the European Equal Community Initiative.
The SES website provides information, news and policy updates on the Social Economy.

Social Enterprise Academy
The Social Enterprise provides learning and development programmes for leaders and potential leaders of social enterprises. The Academy acts as a hub, working through a collaborative network of partners and experienced social entrepreneurs to design and deliver learning tailored to the needs of the sector in Scotland.

Social Investment Scotland
Social Investment Scotland (SIS) is a unique partnership between Scotland's four biggest banks and the voluntary and public sectors. SIS provides loan finance and business support to social economy organisations that are unable to raise any or all of the loan finance they need from normal commercial sources.

The Prince's Trust - Scotland
The Prince's Trust is a UK charity that helps young people overcome barriers and get their lives working. They provide practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance, and help 14-30 year olds realise their potential and transform their lives.

THE QUEEN’S AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE
The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2008 is to recognise outstanding voluntary activities by groups in the community.  A  group/organisation of two or more people can be nominated for an award if it has been working in the UK for a minimum of three years and has a majority of volunteers as its members. Groups solely concerned with fundraising for charitable purposes are not eligible, while the closing date for 2008 nominations is 30 September 2007.

Voluntary Health Scotland
